  I bring my kids out to Brooker Creek Preserve regularly. They have great programming on the weekends, many times involving live animals. There are plenty of easy walking trails and a lot of wild life. If you have a bike the bike trail through the preserve on the other side of the road will also give you a chance to see a lot of Florida's wildlife.

  Great park that sits back away from the main roads. Only outside noises you can hear are the planes & the silver dollar gun range. Saw some pretty awesome snakes up close. Beautiful cypress areas & green tunnels. Absolutely gorgeous & well maintained.

  We went to the story time at the educational center today. Very well done. The women reading the story and helping with the craft after were so kind and patient. Let the kids really interact which helped hold their attention. The building itself is very nice. A lot of neat things to look at and learn about. We saw some frogs, butterflies, and dragonflies while walking the short distance from the parking lot to building. Tons of cool plants as well. We will definitely return to explore more.
